Sometimes, it doesn't have to be all that gloomy because he started faster than you, so fast, you didn't see it coming, just in a twinkle of an eye, like that guy from Jamaica, Usain Bolt or in a more unrealistic but meta-humane manner, like the speed of light or even faster, like the Flash, it doesn't mean he will finish the race first for as long as you are ready to overcome every setback, every challenge and you don't throw all hope in the trash can.

Sometimes, it doesn't make much difference that your grades hit rock bottom all the time, that you are never called onto the podium to be awarded for some academic brilliance whatsoever or that you had those heart-breaking, shameful results because in the end, it doesn't determine who would actually develop the guts to survive the challenges out there in the real world.

You will actually find this ironically hilarious, "the best student in my class then is one of my engineers in Microsoft", Bill Gates once said so what's the fuss, the hatred, the depression for not being among the top in class all about?

Sometimes, it doesn't have to be done the way everyone does it, it doesn't have to bother that much not conforming with the norm, it doesn't have to matter that you chose that awkward profession... Just like people come up with crazy but deemed fashionable styles and people just don't seem to stop imitating the same act, you can be that crystal example, that pace setter, difference maker in what people never saw any form of substance, worth or tangibility in and be forever remembered for it.

Don't listen to them because they don't know you, only you can see what you want for yourself, they can do what they want but they shouldn't stop you from doing what you want to do, what you are born and meant to do. You can make your parents proud, you can make your friends, your school proud, you can make a mark, touch lives of people and remain in history.

Don't be quick to point fingers saying, I couldn't do it because of him, this happened to me because of her, Cowards do that! And you are no damn coward.

Looking up to God, you can surely do it. It's not about trying to copy them, don't put up that attitude, it's all about striving to unleash that "demon" in you, it's all about being unique. c'mon run your own race with every passion, every determination, every power in there, everything you have got and people will ask you, "how did you do it?" And you will look at them with so much pride knowing that you have proving them wrong, you have done what was deemed impossible, you have written your name in the history books, you have made the mark...
