Who knows
where the Alexis Sanchez transfer saga will end, but one
thing is for sure, he’s not going to Bayern Munich.
The
CEO of the German Giants, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that the
club is no longer interested in Arsenal star, Alexis Sanchez and won't
be joining them come next season.
The Chilean’s future remains a matter of controversy and that’s because according to Karl-Heinz, it is a deal that makes “no sense.”
The German Champions were formerly keen on the Chilean striker however,
Rummenigge confirmed: “I don’t know what [Sanchez] has said but we are no
longer involved.
“We are
in agreement with the coach [Carlo Ancelotti] and we won’t be doing another
deal for an attacker. That makes no sense.”
Sanchez
has told Arsenal he wants to play in the Champions league – something the Gunners
obviously can’t provide.
They in
turn insist the Chilean striker is staying put and have offered him £275,000 of wages
